Transportation

We recommend either the Bolt, Uber or eCabs apps. These make travel easy and trouble-free.

Depending on your length of stay, your comfort levels with walking around and the focus of your trip, you may not need to rent a car. Car rentals are best handled at the airport. Street parking is available close to the hotel as is a large public parking lot 250 meters called Spinola Park.

It is also very easy to get around the island with public buses. Our closest bus stop ‘Spinola’ is 250 meters away and you can catch a bus to nearly every main site in Malta, You can get all the details on  www.publictransport.com.mt which has a day package, short stay and a weekly package.

Weather

In summer the temperatures vary between the mid 20’s and high 30’s. There is usually a sea breeze and evenings are magical.

During the shoulder seasons (spring and autumn) the temperatures range in the 20’s. You can catch a swim in the sea well into December and the island turns green again.

Winter days are mild and mostly dry (10 to 18c) so a wonderful place to escape to. Malta enjoys around 300  days of sunshine per year (one of the highest in Europe),.

Activities

The Three Doors is within walking distance of a wide range of excellent restaurants, as well as the entertainment district in Paceville. Movies, bowling, discotheques, and clubs are all within walking distance.

Feel like something different? How about a jog on the promenade or a quiet walk by the fishing boats in Spinola Bay? In summer swimming is the prime pastime. Getting out on or in the water is a highlight with dive locations and water cruises offered within walking distance.

In winter head off on a hike or cycle ride through the countryside, explore the cliffs on the west of the island, try a hand at abseiling, canoeing, paragliding, there is something for everyone.

Balancing Work and Play

Each of our rooms has a space where one can work as well as high-speed internet and smart TVs so that video calls can be made with ease and in comfort.

Feel free to come down to the common area to work or to have a meeting with colleagues. You can also enjoy a coffee on the terrace.

Malta offers a superb balance between work and play. You can be on conference calls all day, and then shut down  and be in the sea in 5 minutes.

There is lots to see and do, whether on holiday or on a business trip. Malta has lots of concerts, plays and shows throughout the year. Alternatively soak in some pre-history by seeing the temples, visit Medieval and Baroque cities, or go shopping in the shopping hubs of Sliema, Valletta and St Julians.

There are nine UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Malta: Valletta, Grand Harbour, Victoria Lines, Hal Saflieni Hypogeum, Megalithic Temples, Catacombs,  Mdina  , Cittadella (Gozo),  Coastal Cliffs - so lots of explore.
